Only dropped my hat once so far. I've left it on the ground 2 other times though, took it off to put a mask on then left it laying.
I used to have a pull rope on my climber with a treble style hook. It was handy to snatch things dropped or left on the ground.

Not this year. I used to hunt out of a Baker clone climber. I had a substitute ramrod on my muzzle loader. Tipped the muzzle down and watched the ramrod fall to the ground. That makes it a true one shot hunt, at least until I climbed down.

I dropped and shattered my $400 pair of binoculars. They were Cabelas brand and were great. I bought a Nikon but they are not a clear.

This past Tuesday evening I dropped my phone out of my pocket and didn't know it until I got out and in the house. I had it on silent mode. I took my wife phone with me and called hoping to see the light come on. It didn't work. I did find it eventually and of course it had landed screen side down. My case is camo, so it was hard to find.

An arrow.
I had an arrow nocked and this pesky limb was in front of me. In the process of tossing my pull-up rope to snag it, I knocked my arrow off my bow. It stuck broadhead first into the ground. Lol!

So far I've only dropped my grunt call (which was just purchased at the end of last year)... more like it was knocked off my arm either at the bottom of the stand or on the way up the ladder. Either way, I didn't notice it was gone until I was up in the stand all situated. I thought I had somehow lost it on the hike in, but I then looked down and saw it smiling up at me from below. It stayed there for a couple of hours.

Nothing this year...so far... subject to change any time soon. I have lost something.. my finger splint. I had taken it off when I showered and did not do a good job of taping it back on.. I got to my stand and prepared to climb up when I noticed it was gone. I had came into my stand in the dark and had to move sapling limbs out of my way. It must have caught on one of them and dropped. It was covered with the brown sticky gauze...the same color as shed leaves. Even though I was only 25 yards off the lane I walked in on I could not find I in a half hour of looking.Got a new one that afternoon.

I know many a person that keeps their bow in the truck at times.....temps in the truck exceed 90, 100 even at times....that can begin to cause serious concerns and issues. Sadly not always visually able to be seen and can not cause catastrophic failure for months as it weakens more and more...

I haven't dropped anything this year as I took my buck from a ground blind, but I've dropped gloves in the past, and sometime last year I lost my grunt call as well.

My hat just now. It's ok because being follicleully challenged I carry several but did it have to land white side up? Why would a camo hut have white on the inside?

Lol. I lost a wedding band hanging a stand due to old Weight lifting gloves I used screwing in steps. Didnt notice until next day. Went back with two metal detectors for 3 hrs in pouring rain to no avail. Thought it would be easy. I used to competition metal detect hunt when I was yoUnger with my grandpa so I knew how to use them. 6 months later I apparently took gloves off in gravel driveway and wife found it when the dog went to pee on friends truck tire. Now I have a spare.
