I am going to add a wing nut to my climber from 25 ft up while try to adjust angle. It is an old Warren and sweat but grips hard maples excellent. Now I remember why I carried a spare bolts. I really was shaking putting that one in.

My buddy was using a brand new climber for the first time and also forgot his bow hanger. He got bored and decided to cut the factory installed zip ties off the arm rest pads while his bow was laying on his lap. The knife slipped and hit the bow string. He was damn lucky that he did not get impaled as both limbs snapped and wound up like a pretzel.

I had a pull rope break, and my bow fell 20 feet breaking off my 10/20 yard sight pin I was done for the day!

Well, my camcorder and right glove are both 20 feet below me this morning. I hope the camera survived the fall.

Today dropped, rangefinder, 9 bullets, flashlight, water bottle, buck lure, can call, grunt call, and misc. Other small things. My bag wasn't zipped and didn't know till I'm 20 ft up in tree.

Never had that problem .. Me? I just drop the whole day pack before. Glass lined thermoses donβt hold up well with a 20 foot drop... π

Last bow hunt I had a small 6 pt walk right by me. I knocked my binoculars off from 25ft and bought hit him while trying to take a picture. Scared him to death for a second then went right back to cruising by. Must of thought I was a giant squirrel.

The sling swivel came off today as I headed out, good thing I was on the ground. Muzzle down in the mud. I cut a small shrub and was able to snake it in from the breech on my Marlin. Then I pushed a wad of leaves through with the same stick. I am doing a real clean tonight.
