Not tree stand but boat. Did manage to lose a $1500 hearing aid in the lake. Flipped it off while taking off a boonie style hat. Sank like a rock and even dove after it. Buddy was quite amazed as he thought I had a heart attack as I gasped and dove in.

This year was my hat.
The worst thing ever was from the ladder, not the stand. Me. 13 feet up to flat on my back in true Wylie Coyote fashion.

Well tonight my pull up line broke.... Bow fell about 8 ft...... Luckily just broke couple arrows and cracked my quiver. Shot couple arrows and all good. Glad didn't break all way up or I would be bow shopping this evening... JJEEZZ

This past Tuesday evening I dropped my phone out of my pocket and didn't know it until I got out and in the house. I had it on silent mode. I took my wife phone with me and called hoping to see the light come on. It didn't work. I did find it eventually and of course it had landed screen side down. My case is camo, so it was hard to find. Made a lanyard and keep my phone tied to me as well as knife and sometimes keys.

I once dropped my TC Hawken out of the stand at Muscatatuk NWR. It stuck barrel down in the mud. I was able to use a screw in step like wine bottle opener and pulled a plug of mud out. I then ran my ramrod down the barrel and it was good to go.

Nothing this year.
The wedding band stories are good. I lost mine too. Wading the white river near Chesterfield IN about 16 yrs ago...my wife still gives me crap about it. Mainly because I way underestimated the cost of a simple gold band. I tried to tell her I did not neef a ring but ended up replaced with a titanium ring.

Nothing this year. I dropped my muzzleloader last season. Luckily nothing was broken. Must be a common thing with the wedding bands. Lost mine while boating on Monroe a few years back.

I dropped a glove yesterday, always carry spares. While running through everything I needed to do as I was leaving the stand I hooked up to my lifeline and managed to forget my tree strap on the tree. Got to the ground to go look for that coyote and forgot my glove as well. Remembered both as I'm loading the truck. Went to take the quad back to retrieve said items and the quad won't start....

Lost the top half of my ASAT leafy suit yesterday.
Sadly, you cant order it seperate, but on the bright side, my bottom half has so many burrs stuck to it I would almost rather order a new one.

So far this year zip but in years past range finder grunt and doe bleet

With this rain I'm hoping the glove I dropped and didn't walk back for Saturday is still there. Wow, we got enough water in about an hour to make California jealous.

Nothing yet this year..but it will happen. Worst thing ever: wedding band. Lost a bunch of weight one year and while hanging a new set it slipped off...Pops and I searched for 30 mins and he found it! The dude can find blood and a wedding ring amongst leaves like no one else! Lol. I lost a wedding band hanging a stand due to old Weight lifting gloves I used screwing in steps. Didnt notice until next day. Went back with two metal detectors for 3 hrs in pouring rain to no avail. Thought it would be easy. I used to competition metal detect hunt when I was yoUnger with my grandpa so I knew how to use them. 6 months later I apparently took gloves off in gravel driveway and wife found it when the dog went to pee on friends truck tire. Now I have a spare. My wedding ring has always fit loose, and it gets really bad in the winter. We were processing a deer and I took it off so I wouldn't loose it at some point while taking off nitrile gloves. I had on a pair of carharts, and I think when I slipped it in my pocket I missed and it went between my pants and the carharts, and eventually worked its way down and out of the leg. I ended up finding it about 2 weeks later on the garage floor where my wife parks her vehicle. She bought me a necklace that Christmas to put it on.

My Mission 320 crossbow took a 25 foot fall last night. My rope broke as I was just starting to let it down. Bent quiver bracket, but other than that no other damage. Scope was still on that I could not believe.
