I think that's silly, that's why it's called archery.

I like it the way it is, if I want any changes it would to carry over ur gun tag to m/l if u didnt fill ur buck tag..... lmao ! I think m/l season is reasonable just like gun season is a good length. Plus I like to archery hunt more than using a m/l or gun ! but thats just me

Wouldn't mind seeing it extended to the end of late archery, as weather usually gets bad by that time of year wind-wise, makes the good days few and far between...
Wouldn't want it any earlier in the year...

Run MZ season until the end of the late archery season. About 80% of the MZ take is anterless deer.
An early ONE weekend hunt would be OK too.
KY has one and it seems to work out pretty good there.

IMO - We've got too many "buck tags" for a one buck rule now .

I'd be for "traditional" muzzleloaders during late archery. It's hard to define what traditional is, but I'd be for side-hammer guns, no optics.

I say let it alone, if anything shorten it. They have had hunters in the woods since October 1st harassing them. Lets let the surviving bucks have a chance to start putting back on some of the weight they lost during the rut. Some of the bucks that I have been getting on my trail cam look terrible. You can see their backbones on two of the better bucks. I hope we don't have alot of snow and cold up here.

I do think the MZers do a great job in taking 80% antlerless deer in their season. That is the highest percentage of any hunting group. Maybe their either sex tag contributes to that? Does that need to be expanded or rewarded? Dunno...

I think an early primitive weapons season would be nice. Recurve or long bows, and sidelock or flintlock muzzleloaders with patched round balls and iron sights.

I like it the way it is.
Changes: How about allowing hunters to use their unfilled firearm (buck only) tag as an anterless tag during the muzzleloader season?

If they are gonna do a "primitive weapon" ML season... I say it should be for flinters or matchlocks only. No percussion at all.
