had mine since March 1987. Paid Three hundred and something. Don't take long til you're hunting for free . Now I take my annual license money and use it to buy licenses in another state.

What was the last year they were available? I bought mine-comprehensive hunting and fishing, just before they were no longer available-whatever year that was.

I bought just the Comp Hunting. I guess I couldn't justify the fishing part. I guess if the state changes the fishing regs to where you need a bass license, catfish license, bluegill license...ect... I may be in trouble then

I got mine when they were $856 about 5 years ago. I told my wife that it would pay for itself in about 10 years. That was before the prices went up, now I figure about 7 so I'm getting ready to start hunting for free. I got comp hunting only.

I never got a Lifetime License. While it might be a good bargin for many; I felt it was a VERY BAD deal for the IDNR. This was another BIG mistake made by the State.

It was a bad deal for the state, but just how much did the state pay for them deer and turkeys that we are killing. Its always been funny to me how the animals are the states until one jumps in front of your car. then its all yours.
