I just wondered how many of you had a lifetime license. I was spending $200 a year on tags. I paid $855 for mine and just finished my fourth season with it. The way I figure it I broke even and from now on I am hunting for free. ;D

I got mine 04-14-97, so I've been hunting for free for quite some time. Mine was $525.00 when I bought, I sure wish i would have gotten the fishing part now. Oh well, I guess it aint gonna kill me to buy a fishing license each year.

sure was a good deal for me too,i payed $525 too, just for comp. hunting license i also invested in my grankids, i bought two lifetime fishing for the girls and a hunting and fishing lifetime license for my grandson" youngbuck5". at being 15 years old and hes' already hunted 5 years, so if he hunts on into the future, going to be one thing the kids won't have to worry about.....i still think i.d.n.r. should have them in the furture!!..........TAKE A YOUNGSTER ON YOUR NEXT OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE........turkey scout

I got mine in 2001 right before the scheduled price increase.
We all missed the boat .... I have a friend who got one when he was about 10 years old (he is the 33 now). hunting and fishing .... I dont know exactly what he paid for it but it was very, very cheap.

Got mine for $525 in 2001. I figure I got my money's worth already.
I have an uncle who got one in the EARLY '80s and paid like $175 or something silly like that.
