Pfew, that sounds tough after a lifetime of shooting right handed.

I am. I've always closed my left eye when shooting so not really a problem. However, makes acquiring the sight picture tougher.

Me and my wife looked at several land locked parcels before we bought our place and I'd be pretty hesitant.
As the above horror story illustrates you want to be really sure you're on solid legal footing. If you really like the place, it's worth consulting with an attorney who specializes in this (I don't know, maybe real estate law) and have them look at the agreement.
You'd want to make sure the language is such that the right of way continues in perpetuity. Don't go by anything the agent says or even what the adjacent owner says. Your agent has an agenda and if even the neighbor is the greatest guy, the next owner they sell to may not be.
Assuming that all checks out, couple other considerations if you want to build on the place. Is the right of way big enough for large vehicles hauling materials to come through? Are you on the hook if they dig big ruts in that land? Has a perc test been done on the land so you can put in a septic tank? Can you get utilities to the place?
I thought the further off the beaten path the better to, but that can make things pretty tough. Anyway, good luck and I hope you find a nice place.

It's obviously a divisive topic, but putting the politics aside for a moment, it's a very tough call. No one wants to be legally or morally responsible should someone commit a terrible act of violence. As such, the impulse is to err on the side of caution. However, there are of course unintended consequences.
How many people are out there struggling, but won't seek help because they know the possible implications of being diagnosed with a mental illness and how far that label can follow them?
It's a tough balancing act and nothing prevents rational discussion more than strong feelings...

Question for you all. So my previous attempt at a plot failed due to weed regrowth. I went and got some glyphosate concetrate and a sprayer.
Issue is this. I need to get down to my place and kill all the weeds off. Given the travel distance and that I'm on call every other weekend, my opportunities to get down there are limited.
How many dry days do you need after spraying so it doesn't wash everything off the plants? With all the rain, I'm not sure when to make my next attempt.
Thanks.

Had to go buy a small electric pump to clear out some of the water in my yard. Usually, it floods a little and is gone in a couple days, but I had mosquitoes breeding in it the past few days.

Used to be a pretty big fan. PPV prices went up and a lot of the fighters I used to follow retired. I honestly don't remember the last UFC I watched.

I don't know where exactly you are in Indy, but there are some smaller natural areas scattered around that are good for short visits. I live Northeast of the city and near me there is Ritchey Woods ( www.fishers.in.us/RWNP). It's nothing fantastic, but it's free and has some nice trails. I've seen plenty of deer there and they also have special events your son would probably enjoy. No hunting, but good for a family outing. I've been to Fort Harrison once. It's a nice place, but I didn't enjoy it as much as Ritchey Woods. It was further away, had a lot more people, and just felt more artificial with all the asphalt. As far as hunting, unfortunately I can't help you there. I know there are urban deer areas in Marion County, but I've never hunted them. Morgan Monroe State Forest isn't that far away either.

I just mist mine but it seems to soak through any way. I do it a few days before I use them and let them dry. Supposed to last a couple weeks and a couple washing a. Thanks.

For you guys that mix your own from concentrate, do you soak or spray your clothes with it? I've typically used the Sawyers spray, but it gets expensive pretty fast.

Grew up with a German Shepherd. Have two Italian mastiffs now. The shepherd was a lot smarter, but much more hyper. He could get on your nerves with just constantly wanting to play.
The mastiffs are large and can be territorial so they're a decent deterrent. They're somewhat more athletic than some of the really giant dogs so they're still up for hikes and we even jogged when they were younger. Expensive keepers though. Go through a lot of food and they need bigger doses of flea and tick prevention and any meds they may need.
