Definitely some nice bows. Right now, the Bowtech Realm SR6 is the big I'm looking to purchase mid March. However, the Bear Kuma has caught my eye this past week. Little cheaper, but still has good speeds per the speed test I've seen. I'll definitely be shooting these bows along with a few others before making a decision on it. Hoyt had my eye for a long time but, I just can't afford it. I posted the link as eye candy for you! LOL! Just a little push.....

None seen today but a ton of tracks. I realized that this snow is only four to five days old. So, I am encouraged. Back at it Friday morning. Another positive was there are no human foot prints on the property. Just me for the remainder of the season, I hope. Saw a blind that the weight of the snow destroyed, A couple of nice chairs inside. I passed on them. LOL! Didn't see any on the drive home yesterday, so drove around a bit and saw some coming out right at dark last night. Hope things go better for you Friday!! It should be with the colder front coming in for the weekend. I am interested to see if they are moving in the morning. Yep, I am counting on the cold front to give them a push. I'll sit the weekend out and pick two or three days for next week.

Set up on a ridge facing woods with cut corn behind me. Light sleet. No wind

Get out there before Sunday if you can. Massive cold front coming down from Canada with the jet stream dipping way far South. Up here depending on which South Bend station you watch, highs on Sunday could be 14 or 6. Thanks for the weather heads up. Planning an afternoon sit tomorrow and Friday. May try the morning on Friday too.

Went by the property today. No human tracks in the snow so I am guessing that the other hunters have called it a season. Thanks to everyone for the encouragement. Just to refresh my memory, does only until I get one? Right? Earn a buck is still the rule? That is the way that I read it. Thank you

I turned the game off after their first 3 possessions. I don't think the Colts showed up to win, only to play. I guess that's why they call it a game, not a sport. Ditto. Same here. Not their best effort. I was most surprised by the lack of defense

Amen to that. Just got a call from a friend who was driving by a reduction property I can hunt. Saw 9 deer in a cut corn field. I have avoided that property because the owner has allowed too many hunters. Plan on a mid week hunt. Maybe save my season. Just bought my reduction license. Fingers crossed..... If you can hunt tomorrow. I think they'll be moving after the storm. They sure are! Just saw three walking on the road in front of the house. Walked up the hill on my west property line and onto the yard

The pricing is crazy, but people will pay it. My brother in law has a shop over in Sullivan county. Hoyt is what he sells. Amazes me how many he sells and how many people actually buy brand new bows every 2 or 3 years. That amazes me. I definitely believe what you are saying. Still amazes me. I just can't abide by that kind of thinking. Just me thinking out loud....

Estimating 6 inches in north central Hamilton county and still snowing. First time in three years I will get the tractor out to clear snow. Sure looks beautiful and quiet. I'll take it....

Spending that kind of money on an item that won't last that many years never has made sense to me. But...to each, their own. Exactly! I would really like to see a demographic analysis of bow hunters and would be real surprised to see how many are so rich, stupid or imprudent that they will spend that kind of money on a bare bow. It is insane.... Hoyt should learn from Parker or end up like them. Look at the other bows mentioned. $600 or 60% less. No way I am convinced that the Hoyt will make me that much better. Guess that Hoyt needs to get their production costs under control

I just read that article. WOW! I own a CVA and of the opinion that they will continue to innovate in the muzzleloader space. This seems like a huge leap. Now to convince my wife that I really need one.......

Tuesday I was visiting a friend in KY. His wife drives a Nissan Titan with a 5.6L Cummins diesel engine. I had no idea that Cummins engines were in other non commercial vehicles than Dodge. Nice looking truck with so so reviews. That isn't on Cummins. That is on Nissan for building a "tweener" as in between a light duty truck and a heavy duty truck but with the comparable power of a light duty insofar as hauling. Just what I read.
