Well I’m done for the year. Only saw 5 deer while on stand. Didn’t get out nearly as much as I normally do, but it was still a good season getting to just enjoy nature.

Thanks for the condolences. She was about 94 with Alzheimer’s so she hadn’t been grandma mentally for at least 10 years. It will be hardest on my mother.

I will be out sometime, but have family Christmas tomorrow and grandmothers funeral on Sunday and wife’s doctors appointment on Monday.

I guess my answer would be yes. I try to kill a good buck, but that may change depending on what I have seen. I don’t run cameras so I don’t have an inventory of what deer are on the properties I hunt. Whatever comes along and tickles my fancy gets to ride in my truck.

Just watched a good buck chasing a doe on a hillside that I was driving on after helping my buddy drag out his doe that he got this morning.

Yeah a guy that I work with killed one a few years ago and he had an article in North American whitetail. I had him sign my copy just for fun.
