Probably an animal rights activist distributing human scent. Deer or human I am going to try it out on the front bumper of my truck. First test is on 6/6/06 @ our local KFC & the second test will be on the way home on Deer 465 (the road I live on) ;D

I would like to see more does crossing my property come Fall , I just hope it isn't another synthetic estrous formula .

The sample just arrived , it doesn't appear to be urine based and doesn't smell like any estrous scents I've encountered to date . The product has an odd smell reminicent of pickled peppers . It came in a pint squeeze bottle , but has no directions or suggestions for application . I've e-mailed asking for suggested uses and methods including dripper bottles , drag rags , etc and whether or not it's an all season lure . I'll post once I get a reply , which knowing this fella should be very soon . I've also offered to take trail cam pics to document the response to it , pics to be shared here as well as e-mailed to our benefactor , who apparently works for a North Carolina based research firm according to the return address on the package .

Mine arrived about 1 pm today. Hmm looks like a very watered down urine, does not smell like urine though. Actually I could not really get any scent smell, but then again my sense of smell is not the best. Think I will try it someplace I do not intend to hunt first and then after checking that out try it in my hunting area.
Just guessing I would say that it is an esterous type lure but since there was no documentation I have no idea. Uses I think I am going to try drags and wicks.

I got mine today too.
No directions what so ever.
Maybe he just wants us to use it like we would any other attractant to see varied results?
I emailed him and asked for specific directions too.

Thanks Woody. At least now I know it's a food attractant and can be used anytime of year. I'll put it out as soon as this rain quits

"I usually loosen up the dirt in a spot about 10" circle and tyhen pour some of it over it. You can also spray the foliage around it. See how this does. God Bless.

I've gotten a couple emails from him today. He's sending some in the mail.
I'm going to put it out in the woods behind my house. I've got a small herd of does that are there daily, so we'll see how they like the stuff. I'll get the trail camera out there too. Might get several fawns on camera since they'll be dropping any time soon.
