I'm not crazy about what Jimmy did , and I've never been a fan of his , but is this appropriate in light of the fact that he turned state's evidence against Bellar ? He's already gotten his spanking for the incident , and the damage to his professional reputation was pretty bad . I have to think that he's paid the price . I'm not minimizing what he did , I just think he's suffered enough .

I don't believe Jimmy had a whole lot of choice in turning state's evidence. They had him on the tape.
Now..
The others (as far as I am aware) of) did not try and dupe other hunters with a video tape of his "Indiana buck". They also did not have on thier website that they had "hunted and killed an elusive whitetail buck in Indiana". They also did not have a picture (no fence in the background) of the buck and have a bow laying across it. As most are aware that buck was killed with a muzzleloader. It was even in one of Jimmy's videos as a muzzleloader kill.
The picture and statement was on Jimmy's website until they took them down yesterday. It is one thing to do wrong and know you did a wrong and quite another to keep perpetuating that wrong by trying ot decieve and make money off of others.
IOW - He did not wash his hands completely of the whole sordid affair. He was still using it.
IF he had not had his Indiana buck picture, the wording about "elusive Indiana buck" and still pushing the video making money then I think he might be able to ask forgiveness and possibly get it from some.
I do not know what kind of hunter Jimmy is or even if he is a hunter. But from what I have heard is not much of one.
To me he is a self propomter trying to boost his ego and make some money off of hunting doing it the wrong way. Is he sorry he did it? I doubt it. I'll bet he is sorry he got caught doing what he did.
I saw the Realhunter site on another site and posted it here. It seems like t it took off like wildfire on Bowsite and Archerytalk and several other sites. He and his sponsors have caught holy heck.
The good part of this is that some other not so honest "celebrity hunters" will sit up and take notice.

Yes, it's absolutly appropriate! He has shamed the entire hunting community by his actions. When your someone in the spotlight like JH then you represent ALL outdoorsmen to the general public therefor you DO NOT have the luxury of making mistake as damaging to OOUR image as he did. I personally do not want him nor anyone with his low standards representing me in the publics eye, DO YOU? He must step down or be removed!

Dang ! The trial is over, Bellar was convicted and is probably sitting in jail right now, his canned deer hunt business is down the tubes, and Jimmy Huston, Ronnie Dunn, etc have paid dearly in bad PR. How long you boys gonna keep beating this dead horse?

How long you boys gonna keep beating this dead horse? As far as I am concerned, until they have to find another way to make a living. Somewhat like pedaphile priests, once you have lost credibility your done.

I haven't seen a lot of Net chatter about Ronny Dunn , but there's a real poo storm swirling around Houston . Apparently the guys on this site aren't the only ones howling for his scalp , both he and his sponsors are taking a major shellacking . That Bellar video is catching fire faster than the Kookifornia brush country during the Santa Ana wind season , and the players in it are getting roasted . www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=1411468www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=1410130www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=1403986www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=1409987These are just from two of the forums at a major league hunting website , my guess is that there are plenty of others on this bandwagon at some of the other like sites (Well , maybe not TNUSA) . Again , I don't like what Houston did , but he has already paid the price asked of him by the prosecution in exchange for his testimony , and like it or not that's how the justice system works . The ringmaster got caught and put away , I can live with the thought of a few clowns slipping through the net with some scars that will follow them until they die .

My take is that he's only suffered enough in Indiana. I think judging by the recent activity on numerous posts, the word is only now starting to get out around the country. I say he gets what he gives........if he had expressed instant remorse and sorrow, I'd be all for letting it go. But, he didn't. Up until just recently he removed the tag line from the home page that said something along the lines of "bagging the elusive whitetail buck in Indiana."
Does that sound like he feels he's paid enough or doesn't it really sound like he was trying to still gain more attention (and more money) from his exploits? Up until Friday, he still had a picture (of course the pic was taken outside of the pen) of the deer he shot in the pen. Do you really think he's paid too much of a price? That's no different than a rapist who turns state's evidence against another rapist and then posts pics of his victims in my opinion. He may act like he's paid the price to avoid further prosecution but still wants the notariety from his exploits. I've seen sorrow expressed in many ways, but that's not one of them.

Looks like he's a 'habitual criminal' when it comes to hunting. Seems like that would say he has no regard for the law, nor does he care, as long as he gets a kill and it's on vodeo so that he can profit. I don't see calling off the dogs until the quary is in the bag. That would mean no more hunting videos or hunting shows for the joker.

Bobby Knight got caught at least once for hunting without a license, lets do something to skin him next!!
I've got 2 speeding tickets in the last 10 years, should my license be abolished, am i better than the law? If anyone gets caught for speeding should they lose their license cause they weren't abiding by the law? Are you truly sorry for speeding, even though you do it all the time? Did you not know it was illegal to speed?
You are a bigget if you are this type of person, and still want to raise hell with either of those people.
Just my .02
