Bobby Knight got caught at least once for hunting without a license, lets do something to skin him next!! I've got 2 speeding tickets in the last 10 years, should my license be abolished, am i better than the law? If anyone gets caught for speeding should they lose their license cause they weren't abiding by the law? Are you truly sorry for speeding, even though you do it all the time? Did you not know it was illegal to speed? You are a bigget if you are this type of person, and still want to raise hell with either of those people. Just my .02 Lug Lug, did you post a picture of your tickets on your homepage? Did you attempt to garner more notariety for your driving exploits after you testified? Did Bobby Knight try to gain attention and make more money after he was caught? The actions of Jimmy Houston (hunting in the pen) were disgusting. If he'd come out and apologized, I'd have been done with it. But, he didn't. He kept a pic of the trophy (and I use that term loosely in this case) and even bragged about bagging the "elusive" whitetail in Indiana. It was the actions afterward that drew my ire. It wasn't until the truth has come out across the nation that Jimmy decides to take it off his website. We're a nation of forgiving people. However, the offender needs to show contrition. Jimmy didn't do that and even went on continuing to brag about his exploits. That's why he's getting roasted.

My approval and 3.00 will get you a cup of coffee at starbucks!).... But If I see you there it's on me................ Fight on!

Gundude, occassionally, I'm right (hardly ever if you talk to my wife). I'll take you up on the coffee. Heck, they're expensive. I don't even refer to them as Starbucks anymore, I refer to them as Four Bucks. But I have to admit, I do like the way you think ;D

We need to be very careful who we elevate to the position of "hunting celebrity" and representative of us hunters.
I do not know very many of the TV hunting stars that I would bank my future of hunting on.
Hopefully this guy will go the way of Noel Feather, Kirt Darner and Roger Rothar.

Ditto PBR. Man how I wish it would be easy to identify a modern-day Fred Bear. But, that does leave it up to us individually to be that Fred Bear image to those around us.

Jimmy Houston was at a Bass Pro Shop Spring Fishing Classic 10 years ago at Springfield signing autographs. I waited in line for 45 minutes for him to sign a hat for me. The hat now is at the Blackfoot Landfill with the rest of my monthly trash. I am ashamed I displayed it with my autograph Bobby Knight picture. PS. Bring Bobby back. IU basketball has never been the same, or ever will!!!

Welcome whiteoak. Gald to have you on board. Good post, but I hope you do not get arrested in an " IDEM Superfund" clean-up for contaminating the landfill with such hazardous material.
