You see the Deer the Grasper boy shot on Monday in another county? Not sure. See alot of pictures online. Say a 190 plus was killed down around Salam. Green scored 185 according to his Facebook page |

Had 2 small deer come back thru at sunset. They has someplace in mind they wanted to be and were in a hurry to get there. Not sure if it was the same 2 I watched go that way at 4:00 but we're the sane size.

Well, at least we had "minutes" of peace and quiet. Chainsaw singing and a quad zooming next door right on time. 😒 No bother to the deer, just to us. Happens about every time here. Someone should be warming up their gun range any time as well. Sounds like my season thus far. - dog issues at 3 spots - trespassing - hunter harassment by firing range upon arrival, sending kids to the woods screaming, etc. - pipeline decided to bush hog on a Halloween week after neglecting it all year. Now my plot that I’ve been watering is visible FROM THE ROAD - employees at a business I hunt doing sxs donuts in my plot and driving machines back to my hunting areas without reason - sheriffs department using in front of my camera on a private drive as their hidden hangout and even spotlighting deer on cell video a couple times because no one’s there at night (but they park IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA?) 🫣😯 I don’t get any of it and am past being upset for the season. It’s honestly almost laughable at this point. I quit investing into the plots and any prep effort at the properties because it just seems like every step forward is two back. Effort continues to be matched with sh1tsh0ws I’m done lol I’ll fill some freezers regardless, but I don’t see any ROI in continuing to throw money or effort at the season. Next large purchase will be an e bike so that I can park elsewhere so that I can be in places without the world knowing. Hopefully I can find something reasonable before next season. All that said …… Prepare to see the red river flow in the next two weeks via willy7948. I’m in the part of my kid rotation where I have boys 7/9 days in a row, but after the storm comes the calm week where I inevitably wish they were home. I’ll fill that time in the woods. I’ve got a buck to earn and then two buck tags to fill and I intend to fill them well 🎯🎯🎯 |

I know it seems late, but god knows I’ve wanted to douse plots in rye and fertilizer over the last two weeks lol they are what they are and I’m fine with it finally lol Deadear- thank you and good luck to you and yours as well! |

When it rains it pours, just got new tires on my truck, last day of work before vacation was yesterday and wouldn't you know it.... My wife's van springs s major oil leak. Ugh! Taking the van in today to be looked at, wpuld rather be hunting with the boy. Oh well maybe we get this fixed and be done with car trouble for a while.

Just got setup at the lease. Deep woods stand. Don’t hunt it super often but is usually pretty good. After the hunt on Wednesday I headed home to hunt my urban spot and get things back in order for the day. Unfortunately my cell phone didn’t make that trip. Got out in the morning and right at first light got a doe that came in. She made enough noise before expiring so I called it early. Took her to the butcher and did some work at the house. Got back out there later than desirable but had a small buck chase a doe right by after getting settled. Maybe 5 minutes into the hunt. A minute later here come a bigger one and I let him have it. double lung and he went down quickly. Was able to make quick work of him and straight to the butcher as well. Not the biggest but he was a bully. Every picture he’s fighting in it. 10 point 175 lbs Hammered down and headed back to my property and back at it again. I’m bushed.   |

Just watched a basket 8 dogging a doe out in the field. Have 2 other deer separate of them a long ways out as well.
