Was very pleased that the skeeters were almost nonexistent Sunday am.

Please add 5 more for Team 3. Went to the deer woods to check stands. Gonna have to go back with some screws to secure a step on one of the ladders on the shooting houses. Will need a can or two of wasp spray as there are multiple paper wasp nests in both of them. Sat down against a small tree and watched a 6 point munch acorns for about half an hour before he came walking by. Personal total is now 25.

Usually either a freezer queen or a good buck. Wouldn't count him out if it comes down to muzzleloader season though. 😄

Please add 5 more for Team 3. Hot, long 3 mile walk (round trip) to a favorite spot at Glendale. Soaking wet when I made it back to the truck at 10:30. Two of those are going to fry up great! Personal total is now 30.

Personal total is now 30. Way to go bud. Like the last 2 seasons I only got out once and I'm done for the year. I only hunt until mid September to let the woods quiet down before archery season. I'm not allowed on the property I hunt while deer season is on. It's nice that you other guys can take up my slack.

We are giving it a go before the rain hits.
Can hear them cutting and acorns falling, no eyes on them yet.

I have my homemade skurry skinner screwed to the outside of my garage. I stick the garden hose thru the fence and leave on while I'm cleaning them. It was raining so good, I put on my rain gear so I didnt get drenched. Glad to get the rain, finally.

Squirrels have got pretty active here the last couple days, since the acorns started falling.

Sorry I haven't been on lately! I haven't been squirrel hunting for a little while, a bit busy with other things right now and I don't have the patience to handle the back pain caused by constantly looking up into the trees.
