Excellent! You killed more ducks in 2 days than I've seen all year. Beginners luck I guess, killed more ducks in the past week than I have my whole life 😆 I wouldn't call it beginners luck, I would call it doing your homework. All the ducks you show are good eaters not fish ducks. Congrats on good hunting.

All the ducks you show are good eaters not fish ducks. Congrats on good hunting. Appreciate it. I was fortunate enough to be off work for a while and have been hunting most days of the week. It helped me study the property, try a bunch of different units, and figure how the birds are working the place. I’ve also spent many hours practicing my calling this season. Not sure what happened but I got hooked on waterfowl this year, even though I’ve done it in years past.

Has anyone here hunted Patoka River Refuge or Sugar Ridge? Thinking about checking them out next weekend with the hopes that the warm weather and rain will unlock some good sized puddles.

The geese were thick on the open holes on the wabash near purdue. Parts of the river were 100% ice jam though. But if you had a field nearby it would be awesome

I figured out waterfowling still sucks fun morning but man muddy field nasty weather and one Canada not mine either. Seen a ton of snows and specks just nothing would finish.

If they ever open a season on these guys I got the spot. Hunted this morning, saw several hundred geese and I probably could of taken a few but it just wasn't right for the wind. I'll try again tomorrow. ,

It'd be a scary deal having those things falling out of the sky on top of you.

They are very noisy and very nosey. They have no fear of me or my dog. These are Tundra swans.

I was by Bass Lake today and had about 500 Snows go over me about 1,000 feet up. They were headed North.
