I've been in there several times. Let me tell you. You can see 30 deer one day and go back to the same tree the next day and not see any deer. Thats how muscatatuck is as i'm sure numerous places. To some of the above post, I hunt right next to Muscatatuck and our place fills up with deer during Muzzleloader season. Its unreal.

 Hey me and my dad went there today we hunted all day and we never saw a deer only heard two shots. We talked to a few other guys they said they didn't see any either. one guy did say he saw 5 does but he was buck hunting. This was probably the worse day i spent up there in a while. Dad got drawed for tomorrow but don't think we are going , might try another place.

Hey h.h. all of the muzzleloader season is a draw hunt after that over anybody can go with a bow for the remainder of late bow season. But that place has been getting alot of hunting pressure the first few days got all deer ran out i think it might get better later on.

Late season is very good. I hunted everyday the last 2 weeks last year and saw over 120 deer.

hey parrothead what area do you ussually hunt? i most of the time hunt back by east river trail.
