Watched a Catman outdoors video the other day where he picked 70 on March 1. He’s in Tennessee. Said it’s the earliest he’s ever picked them.

I saw after next weekend cold spell they will be popping out in the southern to mid Indiana. About 10 more days.

Heard they found some blacks down around Dupont this week. They are finding blacks in southern and central Indiana even a find in NE Ohio. Good Luck Shroomin everyone

That’s a good mess. I agree, hope to start finding some by next weekend. I’ll check with my neighbor, he always finds early blacks. I think April 15 is about my earliest, normally about 10 days after that.

Wife found one at the edge of the yard yesterday. I walked the woods for two hours this morning and didn't find a thing.

Went today to a couple of my best spots in the spoil banks in Pike County and found 14. I normally find several pounds there. I think we need rain and some warm nights to really get them going. I don't think rain is in the forecast until the end of the week and that ain't good for the mushrooms
