Here's one he did for a business. He did just the curved top, not the stone work.

Started on the whiskey shelves this afternoon. Cleaned, sanded and applied a coat of special walnut stain.

I forgot to post pics of my shelves when I finished them. They turned out pretty nice I think.

Not a significant, single project to share, but a multitude of work! All my firewood is stacked, yard mess cleaned up, mower blades sharpened, lawn mower serviced, grass mowed at home and my moms, trailer ramp holders made, spare tire carrier made, struts and wheel bearings replaced on my wifes truck, brush hog serviced and couple test runs, and a hornet's nest handled. Now gonna burn some junk firewood in the campfire, pull up a lawn chair, and FINALLY get to take it easy this afternoon. Aaaahhhhhhhhhhhh.

You've earned the lawn chair time!

Here’s one I’ve been working on. Literally took me a week to dig the holes and that’s working on them every day. Used a gas powered auger, post hole digger, hammer drill, and a chisel drill to get through the ridiculous hard pan ground. My tractor bucket wouldn’t even dig any further. After I finally got the poles set it took my son and I about three hours to get the wall up last Saturday. Still have to go the other direction in front of the barn, but at least this longest section is done. I’ll put a drain tile behind the wall to direct water around the barn and then cover everything with gravel. Figured I needed to get this done as you can see in the background we just had that pool installed last week and that weight will start pushing some of that dirt towards the barn.

Are you concerned with how long those posts will last? Treated lumber doesn't seem to be what it used to be.

I figure we won’t live in this house by the time anything needs replacing.

Finally able to start putting up the pool. I figure I'll get it up and filled just in time to close it for the winter.

Here’s one I was able to finish up in a day. Got the hole dug and concrete in this morning. Then put the flag pole in this evening. I have a solar light and bigger hand sewn flag coming tomorrow, but I couldn’t wait to get a flag in the air. This is from Old Glory flagpoles, a veteran owned company. These things sure aren’t cheap, but once I saw it in the air it was worth every penny. I’ve always had one hanging on the side of the barn, but this is so much better.

Just a question for you. What are you using to hold the boards on the 4x6's?If just screws, I'd rethink it now and use bolts. OR put the boards on the opposite side of the uprights. You did get ground contact rated treated wood, correct?

You did get ground contact rated treated wood, correct? Yes, on the ground contact wood and I have 5 gallons of a mastic type sealer I may go through and cover the back side of the wood with. I did use screws to hold the 2x lumber to the posts. I though about getting some through bolts and putting at least two of those in each board as well.
