Just like Golden Corral! All 12 still doing good. Momma is a little constipated, hopefully clears out soon. Piglets get iron shots this evening.

The owner wants gilt tails cut along with the iron, but not yet on the boars. He says that way he can tell who needs castrated, and then they get their tails clipped too. He wants to come help with teeth clipping tomorrow, and that’s fine by me, I’m pretty much a rookie. Ear notched should go tomorrow also.

What was the sex count M/F…. They make a lot noise when picked up at the size, You never forget that sound Ha! Wait till you stick a needle in their neck for a shot of iron! Momma was good about it all, my oldest daughter did the sticking. She did good, wants to be in medicine. There were 7 gilts and 5 boars, soon to be barrows.

What was the sex count M/F…. They make a lot noise when picked up at the size, You never forget that sound Ha! Lots of sounds smells I wish I could forget from my childhood like cutting teeth cutting hogs banding cows chickens flopping from a fence with no head and my beloved grandmother with a hatchet in her hand the smell of chickens being dipped in a big old cast iron pot to get feathers off and the list goes on and on Is it any wonder why I’m a half bubble off now
