My son got drawn for the Sept 2 hunt. I’ll be scouting one day this week. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or if there are any specific rules up there I need to know. Thanks!

Me and duff are going to kill them all off on the 1st so probably a waste of time. May take a trip over to scout before the hunt. I'll let you know what I find out |

The only time I hunted there was after the draw hunts. The doves would fly in and land on the power line to check out the sunflower fields before coming in so you had to be well hidden.

Already dreaming about the weekend meal! My excuse is ragweed has my allergies all messed up. Using an old gun. Wind is out of the wrong direction. The other hunters in our field screwed us.....what am I missing?  |

Good Luck to all, remember try to find some shade and bring lots of cold water for the dogs.

Slower than molasses in January at Goose Pond. Field full of hunters produced maybe 15 total. Not many shots from the other units either....better than work
