Just check the creek. It’s bone dry with some puddles.

This storm just rolled through Rochester a couple of hours ago. Talk about a Gulley washer. Had some strong winds on the back side of storm. Lots of limbs down.

We only had 1/2" of rain, but the wind was pretty solid. Neighbors tree fell and smashed our fence, broke off, and smashed one side of our dog kennel. We no longer have a dog, and dont plan on another one any time soon, so it's no big deal.

Scorcher here In Iowa. Originally scheduled for a Cargill plant in Omaha. That got switched to Cedar Rapids due to the crazy flooding from the Missouri River and such. Cedar Rapids Cargill plant was absolutely crazy yesterday with boiler room temps hovering around 120°F! Really good staff though, as the plant kept us supplied with ice cold water, and breaks as needed!.

1 1/4" rain in < 1/2 hour, fields were flooded, lost power due to downed trees for 4-5 hours. There is a cell tower or two between Grovertown and Knox that is out, there is no cell signal or network available for around 12 miles when driving on SR 23. 1 1/2" rain total

We had 1 1/2 inches of rain in short order. A few small limbs down, a lot of damage not too far away. Power flickered several times but didn’t go out.

It is hard to beat these sunsets over Lake Michigan. Glad the wife upgraded to the lakeside room. Well worth it. If your in St. Joe Michigan your just minutes away from some great Lake Trout fishing 10 miles straight out toward that sunset.

Finally a good rain yesterday afternoon/evening. Over and inch. Of course I planned to cut the grass. I guess today I'm cutting the weeds-grass.

I can't believe the heat and humidity disappeared without us getting a good rain out of it.

I can't believe the heat and humidity disappeared without us getting a good rain out of it. Had a sprinkle when we were in church this morning. Only way I could tell was droplets on the car..
