I'm sure I'll get plenty of AC work coming in. The fixing part still sucks, but the testing part is rewarding. If you were close I would give you a call. Mine kind of quit yesterday. I only have a window unit but with a fan it would keep the house comfortable. Yesterday it quit cooling to low temperature. It still blows cool air but no ways nere enough to cool that room or rest of house. It was 77 in the house when I came in yesterday. Ended up takeing a cool shower to cool down. Gona have to do something. Dune with out ac in cars and homes most of my life but not any more at my age |

Maybe needs refrigerant recharged? Probably a $300 fix if you want to keep that unit. I'm no expert either

Pulled a rabbit out of the hat tonight. Had a steel low side line rubbed thru. Part on national back order. Went for gold, and brazed it shut. Pulled and held 29" vacuum for hours. Charged it up and let run several hours, then let sit awhile and bone dry! See how long it holds. |

Had a pretty big storm roll thru last night, 1 1/8" rain and now I have to get out the ladder and see why the rain gutter was overflowing....... Lightening was close, flash and less than a second later a big boom. It's been dry since I got up @ 6am, temps are 20+ degrees cooler than yesterday.
