It got dark then the sun came out. It did that a few times. Nothing close on the weather map. They did set the sirens off in north Ft Wayne though. My daughter called and insisted I take my 13 m.o. granddaughter next door and make use of their basement.

Tornado watch is lifted. No storms to speak of. If I can hear thunder I really don't like working outside, so when it started to rumble I went inside.
I've been close to getting the ZOT once, I don't want to repeat it.

We were under a tornado watch yesterday evening. All while it was sunny here at home! My dad took me to vote and get gas literally 10 minutes away and about 2 minutes behind our house it started raining hard. When we got home it was interesting to be able to see, just based on the dryness of the road, where the cloud line had started and where the rain had gotten heavy. I was still able to mow the thick grass in our pasture, since we didn't get the rain!

A friend of mine in Missouri posted this. It’s really bad with that big hail and cans of soup falling too! .

We have been pounded with rain the last several days. 3-4 inches and it’s coming again tonight. Washed out my driveway last night. Repairs made today. County has brought out street sweepers from all the debris on roads. Excavating culvert pipes today just down the road. Clogged and washed out. Not been fun.

I definitely need to get out and grade our road tomorrow as the rain last night carved big ruts in a couple places. It’s pretty bad.

I heard that Union City had 4" dia hail Tuesday. Wow! Insurance sure couldn’t deny that damage claim.

I did put the “new” to me 4Runner in the garage last night and parked the Prius in the driveway. I’m pretty sure all we got was rain.

Eastside of Cincinnati had a tornado again. Very close to a friends house. He lost a lot of his trees, but no house damage.

Just enough rain up here to screw with mowing the grass, but enough to grow a bumper crop of skeeters too!!
