Looks like they postponed the Bills vs Steelers game to Monday. Bills are offering $20 an hour for snow shovelers I would guess the next two days Think it is more about people not being able to get to the game buffalo gets pretty real when it's coming down You be lucky to find someone to work for that amount of money in fair weather.

I think the Dolphins are out of their element in Kansas City..
I’m thinking it’s going to another blowout.

I saw on the Michigan forum they're predicting 32' waves up by "the bridge", YIKES! You sure that wasn’t wind speeds ….. Personally I never heard of waves that high on the Great Lakes! The swells would be unreal! They have cameras at the Bridge also… www.mackinacbridge.org/This was from said forum...

“Potential” is the key word it seems ….
If you watched the camera at bridge it never got half that at bridge. 32 feet would been deadly and closed the bridge.

We've been across the Mighty Mac when high winds limited it to one lane, but never seen much for big waves down below. We have been under the bridge on a ferry boat tour going to the island. A storm was approaching on our way back after a day trip. It started a big chop and the boat really had some crazy vertical movement. I'd estimate 6-8' swells and a few crashing waves. We had to get off the top deck and go below. Fun stuff. The Great Lakes are a very special nautical environment. Home of the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

We made it to FL safe and sound. Got to our room yesterday at 4pm. The drive was the worst I have had. Stuck in construction traffic jam 30 min at 69 and 465. Accident in down town Louisville stuck 30 min. Spent night in Bolingreen KY. Next day hard rain all day. Drove 40 mph on interstate because could not see for 10 min. Ran wipers on high all day. Got stuck in accident traffic jam some place for 20 min. Stayed at Miranda FL. Good weather next day. Had I10 shut down for accident. 30 min in traffic then routed us off I10 and had to go around to next I10 entrance (saw some pretty senery) problly lost an hr. But we made it. Sitting hear eating bacon and eggs then gona go to store and get groceries for the week and do some exploring. Suposto be a dock acc streat owned by the place we are staying so gona find out if I can fish it.

A toasty 3 degrees in madison on Jan. 14. The truck gave me a scare. Went out to warm it up for Church and though it started, initially the little electronic window that displays the odometer and gear selector was dark. After the truck warmed for a few minutes it was lit again. *sigh*

-4' in sunny suburban Ari. NWS has issued a windchill warning. It is -4 degrees! The wind is not blowing like it was yesterday. No outdoor animals to worry about anymore.
Nothing going on today so I may cruise some of the early ice spots I know of.

Same here in Plymouth, minus the cats. Going to head out in 1/2 hr and check on things IF I can get out of the driveway. From what I can see from the house there may be a 3' drift in it, there is in front of the house and a 4' drift behind the house.

I always keep cold weather gear with me to buy a little time in the event of a breakdown. Good luck. I got all my outside duties done yesterday, so I could stay inside as much as possible thru this.

I think the Dolphins are out of their element in Kansas City.. I’m thinking it’s going to another blowout. What little respect, and I mean very little, for the NFL went away when I discovered the game was only on Peacock. That's one of the biggest B.S. moves since the Big Ten Network was created.

It's up to minus 6deg now. Everybody must be waking up as traffic is going by finally. I got all the vehicles fired up to thaw out and warm up. Cold enough that the snow squeaks under foot.
