Our football game and any practices have been cancelled for today. Since its Luke birthday (we have a teenager now) we are going to Bass Pro and then Quaker Steak & Lube for hot wings afterwards.

Yes, and you are a way tougher man than me! Lol. I/we like hot stuff, but not that extreme. We watched a guy eat them, had to wear rubber gloves even, but no problem. Yikes. I like their Buckeye bbq sauce. It sneaks up on you and burns just right. That place is getting way too expensive now. We are only going for special occasions. At least their food quality has been top notch, so they have that going for them. |

My son Sam this week is only allowed to work outdoors to noon.
Way back in 1988 I played an outdoor soccer game in Fort Wayne and it was 106 temperature. Hottest game I've ever played

We weren’t allowed to die of heat stoke or exhaustion in 1985. If you did, you had to run laps on the cinders or crab the levee after football practice.

We would take salt pills every day when hot … especially the week of Two a day practices.Gatorade was king and the only drink at the time.

I know for a fact that whenever you start the car at 3:25 A.M. to go to your 10 hour welding job and the thermometer reads °81, you are in for a long day....

Those weatherman most be idiots. Driving to work and partly cloudy high of 98. I see lightning big time and then hard rain. I get to work and almost all of Ohio is in rain and moving southwest to cover all of Ohio soon. Clueless. Looks like rain most of the day.  |

I was on a web stream with some beekeepers from that area yesterday and one from Youngstown, Ohio. It is moving southwest. Storm is not typical and missed by the programmed weather simulator. |
