The next 10 day outlook hugs 90deg throughout. Yuck from a working perspective. As a welder in a non-air conditioned factory, I love hearing the radio people say "stay inside today"! Some people have no clue..... BTDT….. shade does have some benefits but you also need air movement! |

BTDT….. shade does have some benefits but you also need air movement! I worked as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity for about 8 years. During the summer I learned pretty quickly to “chase the shade”, if at all possible. |

We had a strong wind storm this afternoon. It took some sheets of metal roofing from the back yard and moved them to the front yard.

A refreshing 54 deg this morning. What a welcome change from the heat and humidity we've endured all week. Even tho short lived, I'll take it! Getting the boat hooked up and and starting a rack of ribs on Big Z before we head out. Shaping up to be one heck of a day!

Some people have no clue..... My neighbor loves the hot weather. I keep telling her to turn off the A/C in their house and then tell me how nice the hot weather is. |

Showing 93deg in LaPorte Cnty already, with high of 99deg. Says I will be enjoying 90+ for 7hrs of my shift today. Yay, cant wait.😫

It's so dry here that the corn is curling and turning blue, and I am seeing Sassafras trees that have wilted, drooping leaves at the edge of the the woods.

Hit 100 here yesterday for the first time since 2012. Barely had enough rain to notice. Drought is getting really bad really fast.
I have a 1500 sqyd sod job for tomorrow. I have absolutely no freaking clue as to why the customer is demanding that this be done.
