We have our annual Christmas trip to Ohio with our niece and nephew planned for Thursday and Friday. Not looking like that’s going to happen now. We have until tomorrow to cancel. I’d rather play it safe with having four kids in the car. Don’t want to get stuck or worse yet in an accident.

Yesterday, I was checking it in the vehicles and tractors and thought "I bet at least half of the people I know have NEVER done this". |

That pretty much seals the deal for me on Friday then. I will be the only one that comes to work. I got the longest drive, thru wide open spaces, live in the bullseye, all lining up to be the "perfect storm." Lol. Got 2 out with covid positive test today, a holiday coming, oh yeah, just perfecto.

He does it when theres 2 inches and the wind blows. Anything to get out of work. Brags about his truck is the best, tires that me and you cant buy, etc. He could at least wait to see how the conditions really are before causing a panic. We all drive 4wd, so if one "cant" make it in, none of us "should". Of course if blizzard and visibility is zero, or roads impassible, then it is what it is, and nobody would/should question it. |

Stay safe you all. Not scared of getting up to 12 inches at a crack, or below 0 weather up here. I know what only a couple inches with wind can do down where you all live.

The wind and blowing wind will be the issue with power outages the next few days. It looks winter warm for end of year though new years. A lot of days above freezing. Relatively warm and wet.

I just checked the weather and I'm right at the transition line of 4 to 6+ and 2 to 4. I guess I'm around 4" prediction. My son Sam will be busy plowing the streets.

Went from 17 down to -3 before I started plowing last night's snow and wind result. No more outside today, and probably not tomorrow. You guys are gonna have fun when this gets out your way.   |
