We got almost 2 inches of snow/slush in a big hurry. Now it's starting to condense down. The plow/salt trucks are out in full force by us. We were coming home from Mishawaka, and saw several slide offs along the way. I got off the beat down two track a few times and it wanted to pull us right along with them. If it freezes up tonight, it will be a real mess for awhile.  |

I watch a guy on youtube, Ryan Hall. He has been talking about the setup for next week and he is predicting blizzard to tornadoes again for central US. He has been on this for probably a week already. Will see.

Next few days I will be plowing. Not complaining, winter has been mild thus far, plus I need snow to cover my septic before it starts getting brutal cold.

6 inches of heavy wet snow last night. Cant remember last time we seen wet snow this time of year, I would rather plow and shovel 2ft of powder. Calling for another 3-5 tonight. Lake's are done, going to take some serious below 0 weather to fix them now.

Lake's are done, going to take some serious below 0 weather to fix them now. Yep. THat's the problem with getting snow before they are froze solid enough for vehicle traffic. I've had winters here where the ground never froze under the snow blanket, and ice as barely thick enough to walk on. |
