I had a quick 1" rain tonight around 9pm.
Lost a tree at the pond during the windstorm last evening, a Silver Maple that was about 5' across. About 60% of the top of the tree is in the pond, I will get a larger tractor next week to help get it out of the pond. It will take some chainsaw work to get it cut up into manageable pieces and out of the pond.

Send all you have extra to me. The pond is still about 4' low. I seem to be getting enough to keep the grass wet but not enough to recharge the groundwater levels. slightly more than 5/8" here today, deadeer earlier today had 1.1" when I only had 1/2".

Up to 2.5” here for the last 24 hours and it’s still pouring right now. Our ground hasn’t been dry for a good while now.

Rain just ended in South Bend. But it's so dang soupy in the shop my boots are juicy inside. The mosquitoes are on the rampage, and I am in town working with asphalt around for miles!

Around 2 inches, raining now and a lot more storms on it's way. It's been one wet spring and summer.

It pretty flooded here and going to do some damage. No where near June of 08 though. That was bad.

Just got a pretty decent rain here in Newburgh.
I put out a little 10-10-10 this afternoon so this is timely.

This rain we have been having this year has been a blessing after planting 150 pine trees in my woods. I've only lost 3 trees and haven't had to do any watering. So I'm not gonna complain.

No fun here on Indy’s Southside. We spent the evening helping my sons in-laws with a flooded basement. And, Storms decided to pick up our new trampoline and slam it into my wood fence. Snapped 3 posts and a bunch of boards! Work and expense I hadn’t planned!

Captian's Log: Star date 17 July 2021;
It hasn't rained here in 8 hours. We are a bit afraid to mention it out loud for fear the clouds will hear us. They currently look ominous and seem to be searching for a reason to strike again.
We have had 3 days this month without rain. Our fair was last Thursday to this past Wednesday. In those 7 days 1 was dry and we had 7+ inches over 3 of them. We need a couple weeks of that Lake Meade weather.
