Work had been busy today with all the rain. I just finished clearing a black locust tree off the road near the plant. Luckily I keep an axe in my car. I hope it didn't wash away our pumpkin plants at home.

My neighbor said 6 inches. I'm down Destin, Fl and went through Tropical storm. Still some squaw and 40 to 50 winds. Drove through a f0 or f1 tornado. I'll see what the news says.

Lots of flash flooding down here in Madison. Some homes flooded downtown. Where I'm from in Decatur co. saw flooding like I seldom remember. I guess some of Friendship got flooded, and at one point at least the roads surrounding it were closed.

Barely 2/10 in Sellersburg.
Here's my non-meteorligical opinion: Weather folks are rarely right about summer rain or winter snow. They are rarely wrong about heat, cold, or winter rain.

Not a drop yesterday, had a pop up hit here right at dark, got 3/4" and maybe more later tonight. We really, really need it. I wouldn't complain if the rain gauge said 6" by sunrise tomorrow.

Rode out the storm in the camper and it was a doozy. In between Bloomington and heltonville received about 5.5”. Lost power for around 6 hours or so. Everything around home was flooded. We couldn’t have got back home even if we wanted with the downed trees and flooding. Counted 8 trees that were across the road on 46 between Bloomington and Nashville.

The last check of the rain gauge at camp showed 5.5 inches. The main area of camp ended up with just over 12 feet of water. My personal spot is completely destroyed, but the neighbor almost a mile downstream did find the pot-o-let we set up in April. I'll try to get it collected this week.

We missed the heavy rain this time, but the extended is showing 4+ inches for the southern part of the state over the next 7 days with the vast majority of that falling over the upcoming weekend and into early next week.

Ohio co 3 plus inches of rain Friday into Saturday. Flash flooding was incredible. We were blocked in by water over the roads. Only has happened one other time living here. Friendship was devastated by the flooding.

Our campground is between 446 and Hardin ridge. We ran out of propane in the camper, so needed to get some to keep the fridge running. Luckily the tree towards 446 had just been removed and the fishin shedd was the only place around with power, so I exchanged tanks there.

Pretty well zip in Newburgh.
They keep saying it’s going to rain but it hasn’t panned out.
Yard could use it..
