Finally starting my season off. Hunting without any decoys, so as not to let them think there is anything out of place. Using my home made wingbone call only. Going where they hang out and pass by historically, and where they were just seen Wed and Thurs! Looks to be some rain coming after awhile. Will be high and dry tho. Good luck men.

Heading out in a bit for day number four. Hunting some private this morning so don’t have to get there so early or walk an hour to get to a spot.

Back in the blind. Came down to the camper last night. Now setup in the same blind my daughter killed out of. Just figured it was a good place to restart. Bow in hand so they better come in tight. Same spread as the last time. Jake overlooking the lay down hen. Another upright hen 10yards to their left all within 10 yards of the blind. Very light rain on the blind for a few minutes now nothing again.

Thanks! That combo worked great. I wish I knew how to add a video. My friend recorded on his iphone. Use YouTube for video upload

Long ride down, then long walk to the blind. Already gobbling in 3 directions!!! Would be nice to finish early, but typically this spot has been later morning for action. Never know tho.

Good friend my son and I in a blind. Decoy spread out before us 15 yds out at the edge of the woods. Lots of coffee and donuts. I consider us the three stooges when the three of us are together. And they are gobbling around us.

Just heard a shot across the street. Still hearing them gobble. Sounds like they are all grouped together.

He exited field about 90 yds away. I don’t think he liked my jake decoy. Gonna remove it here in a bit.
