We always trolled Bandit 200 series cranks, but had a ton of different colors. Every once in a while would tie on a 300 series, but stuck to mostly 200 all season long. duffIf you haven’t tried the wiper bite in the evening you should. We always had luck on a big hump just to the east of four winds. Sure is a blast to hook six at one time. Forgot about this pic. Give an idea of the big bait = big fish. NOT! I usually have a bait this size out for eyes, wipers and cats. Usually end up with a crappie I did get some bandit 200 last night. Resisted the urge to fish again this morning. Not sure why. I would love to dial in my spots to focus on the big girls that Monroe can produce.

Duff that's our size of fish. Lol.
Back at Trail Creek this morning. Got fish surfacing regularly so they are here. A lot more guys out this morning and quite a few fishing boats going out, probablyfor perch.
Been watching the fish ladder camera and there are a bunch of steelhead going thru still. Just a matter of time for us hopefully.

Can’t believe a fish could even live after that Ya, in slow motion it looks crazy. Can't even see the fish at normal speed.

They have stocked the high mountain lakes like that since the end of WW-II. I was surprised that it made the news, to me it's old news.

Luke and I took a trip over to Treetops place for a great visit. It was a scorcher out there and if it weren't for the breeze, we would have probably watched the water from inside. He was wanting some bass removed from his pond for maintenance, so we offered our services. Lol. Of course the host graciously shuttles the hotshot around the area in the heat, while the old man has to suffer and hoof it. Lol. Just kidding, I was offered the ride many times, I volunteered my own needed exercise. Here was the total haul out. Ended up keeping 13 total, 13-17", most 2# range and 2 near 3#. Luke put a tape and scale on each one at home. So right about 30# of fish came out, and a very nice pile of fillets taken by the Bubba cordless knife. All in all, a great trip. A big thanks to Dave for welcoming us over to bother him for the day. We have built a great friendship and we can now chalk up more fellow brother sportsman brought together by Hunt Indiana.

Been hitting Brookville pretty regular. 1/2 of a crawler on a jig head has been my go to. Weve been targeting walleye, but catching pretty much anything. Whitebass, small mouth, largemouth, walleye, a ton of channels, ring perch, bluegill, and crappie.

Thanks again Jay for the brats and lunch good time for sure watching Luke kick the bass around I can’t believe we could not get any bluegill to bite I guess you’ll just have to come back this fall and try again I went back out and feed them about 7 when it cooled off some and the bluegill ate like no tomorrow I’d say we are going to have to get some of those baits that look like food Got the trout in a brine going to smoke them and warm up the cabbage for supper
