I manage our company’s ISO9001 program and provide technical expertise to the sales, service and repair departments. Planning on retiring in a couple of years. Unlike Duff I am not counting on a big raise for moderation

I work for a inspection and containment contractor company in the automotive field. Primarily at suppliers. I myself am currently at Allison's leading our onsite quality team. I've been with this company for 8 years, I worked up to the supervisor role but I work alongside my team just to lead by example. My team will forever change as it's only entry level base pay. I've been to 36 manufacturers from Seymour to Frankfort and have seen many manufacturing processes. My favorite is die cast aluminum. Anyways It's been 4 years since I've had a raise. I think it's time I move on soon...

Got sent to Groton, CT and went to sea for four years on my new home USS Dallas. Met a lot of good friends that I still call my brothers and we chased Russian subs out of Murmansk every Spring and trained for war in the Caribbean the rest of the time. Do you get asked about the Red October much? Thank you for your service. Good luck with your retirement plans.

Mainly Ryobi die casting in Shelbyville. They had me working as a contract Quality engineer RDC rep down at Metal Tech in Bloomfield for a couple years until Covid panic. I know they had several guys working for them that had come from GM. Now I am doing Walker die cast at Allison transmission but Allison's recently bought Walker DC. It's out of Tennessee though.

Funny how that works. Metal Tech did and maybe still does work with Bedford so no doubt there was some employee swapping. I know specifically a guy who was a metal tech guy that was hired by GM. If you are looking for a raise I would suggest looking at those customers and GM. They are always looking for good employees.

When I was younger I worked for several Farmers putting up hay. Which ended up becoming a full time job for a dairy farm. Then off to work for Hi-Lift Jack in Bloomfield. Then my best idea. Be a machinist, it will be fun. 31 years later. I am still showing them. Lol

My question is...... have you killed anything with all that shot you blasted? It would be legal for waterfowl at least!! I have a small bag of steel shot from shot blasting. I have thought about figuring out how to load .22 shells with shot so I could use them frog hunting on the FWAs.

Inside and out Woody. Caskets are very cheaply made. I despise the death industry. Everything is marked up by huge margins. They take advantage of families at their worst moment. When my time comes my wife has strict instructions on how my body is to be handled. There is no sense in wasting money on me when I'm gone. Exactly.... one the Biggest casket makers in the US is in Batesville,In I don't know much about it but wasn't the big markup due to a law that required people to buy one that was made in the USA? You can buy a casket now from WalMart's website. I really wouldn't mind an all natural wood box in the woods somewhere so I can decompose naturally. Another option - Living Urn
