Didn’t know Guns were legal in September in reduction Zones... Hmm That's the default. Check the counties total. Uncheck the powder burner boxes, recheck the counties total. Numbers didn't change.

Crossbow numbers are still growing, and therefore I firmly believe we will continue to see a trend of Oct 1 - Firearms season uptick barring any terrible weather hits. IMO it is normal and natural growth.
I was actually talking to someone the other day that believes the inclusion and more so that the inclusion the popularity and insane distances crossbows now have is going to cause an uptick in harvests he feels but it may go unnoticed to many.
His logic was this; many gun hunters that never thought of hunting bow season are now, he is actually one of them. With that new Raven in his hands this is the second year now he has hunted October and bagged a buck. Normally being a typically one deer and done type (buck usually) in firearms season - he still however will hunt opening weekend of firearms with the family and shoot the first doe that comes by (bundle license). Being a guy that used to be gun only, he shares a farm with two others doing similar now too...he wonders how many other "gun guys" are now out there tagging a buck and instead of being done like normal now also tag a doe come firearms season.
I get his thought process, but still find it hard to believe this is a large swath of hunters...still always interesting to her thoughts.

Didn't explode like I figured it would over the weekend....still some hours left for Sunday harvests to come in...but that weather up north Saturday couldn't have been any better for deer hunting.
