Woody, make sure that the holster is designed to work with the laser. Yes sir I certainly will. The Sneaky Pete has a model that says Sig Sauer P365 with "factory laser" and that is what this one is.

Now to get a holster for carry. Leaning towards the Sneaky Pete but I’m thinking that might be pretty good sized to be on my hip? May want to look into the "cell phone" looking holster. Can wear it right out in the open and nobody is the wiser. I've looked at the reviews and only bad report was on size. sneakypeteholsters.com/sig-p365-concealed-carry-holster/?sku=SP1223A-K

Weeeeellll, You snooze, you lose.. After a couple errands we went back to RK to buy the gun. Guess what? YEP.. it was gone. Moral of the story, if you see an AR that you want...buy it on the spot.

I told RKGuns to notify me when they are in stock. As long as I get it before Election Day. 😉

Woody I put a Veridan Laser on my LCP. Where the dot goes so does the bullet. That is if it shows up. Indoors no problem, low light no problem, but outdoors in bright sun it disappears. I am told the green lasers are better in sunlight. I have no experience with them. For me the Green laser beams are easier to see in the daylight. Red are hard to see in bright light. I only use the lasers for sighting in my guns on paper when first setting up a rifle scope on a new rifle. I have the laser sight in devises that go into the end of the barrel. I prefer the ones that fit inside the chamber as they shine the laser beam down the inside of the barrel. The type that fit into the end of the barrel wobble a bit too much if you don't get them in right. I have to trade off as the Green beam fits in the end of the barrel. But I use that one mostly for my pellet rifles. What I would prefer is a green laser beam that is shaped like a bullet and fits inside the gun chamber and shines down the barrel.

The AR should be here any day BUT I’m having a difficult time finding ammo😳. Found some at Bucks and Jakes but I’m not paying $30 for 20 shells.
Where can I reasonably purchase some - in person (Evansville area)or online? Is there a hazmat fee for online?
TIA..

Woody, no, no hazmat fee for online. Loaded ammo ships ORMD. Ammo prices are going up. online, look at SG Ammo, Ammoman, www.gunbot.net/ammo/rifle/223/The gunbot site searches for all ammo, and puts price and type right up front so you can see without having to go to the site where the ammo actually is.

FMJ - full metal jacket - target ammo Frangible - powdered or sintered metal bullets. Great if you are shooting steel targets close up, or want a bullet to come apart in leetle tiny pieces in a smaller target. This is the type of bullet that was initially designed for use by the marshalls in an airplane. Hollow Point, Soft Point, Ballistic Tip - hunting bullets. Mil surp - see FMJ Steel Core - armor piercing Tracer rounds - self explanitory - usually loaded every 5th or 10th in a full auto mag or belt.

Academy in Evansville gets ammo in on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I made a trip there this morning. Got there at 20 till 9 and they open at 9. 25 people ahead of me.. 😩
I thought. Not much chance but I was surprised. They had a lot of the 5.56. I snagged the limit of three boxes.
$12.99 per box of 20.
Frontier brand - 5.56 NATO 75GR BHTP Match. Hornady bullets.
