Knight Hawkeye, 60 gr FFFG 777 240 XTP at 50 yds. Circled shot is at 25 yds. I guestimated the # of clicks and fired the 50 yd group. 1 5/8" was the result. The barrel length is exactly 12" from base of breechplug to muzzle. They're not made anymore so you may have some looking to find one. It took me a couple years to find this one.

I have my eye on one next year at some point. I will probably do it slowly to keep the purchase below the "boss' " radar, if you know what I mean.

Wolfhound....I got one of those Hawkeyes also. Yours is only the second I have seen. I bought mine from a guy in South Carolina several years ago. Topped it with a red dot. I use p-pyro, my best load is 70 gr with a 240 gr serria hjc in 44 cal by use of a sabot. Any idea how many of this weapon was produced ?

I don't know how many were made. They were made before Knight (Modern Muzzleloading then) was bought out by Pradco. I know of maybe 4 or 5 other than mine. My guess would be a few hundred to maybe 500 or so max. They're pretty spread out. Like I said it took me a few years to find this one. I'd seen them when I didn't have the money but this time I had both opportunity and the funds so I got it. Mine has been converted to the new full plastic Jacket ignition. It's the same kit as the Wolverine/Bighorn.
Muzzleloader pistol hunting just never took off. I think the only current production Inline ML handguns are the Encore (ML pistol barrel) and the Traditions Buckhunter.

A friend of mine has the Traditions Buckhunter Pro inline .50 pistol , it's a real hand cannon . You'd definitely need a rest , the thing must weigh 5 pounds !

I Think I may have a Knight Hawkeye bought, what loads do you guys use for deer hunting and what bases does it take for scope mounting. How bad is the recoil with a hunting load. Thanx Kodiak-50

Thanx Kodiak-50 I mention the load in my post above. Quoted here for your convienance. Also the bases are the same as the current Knight production. Make sure you get the rounded bases. It's a kicker but with the scope it's milder than it is with open sights. Knight Hawkeye, 60 gr FFFG 777 240 XTP at 50 yds. Circled shot is at 25 yds.
