I usually start about April. They don't show up where I hunt until about first week of April.

I haven't heard any yet myself but, a guy I work with says he heard one a couple days ago. I'll probably start activity listening the first or second week of April.

I sure thought I heard one as I walked onto the back deck this morning, but couldn’t quite be for sure. Lots of crows going crazy. Never heard it again either.

No gobbling yet, but almost hit six long beards with the truck two miles south of me. Still in their tom groups.

Got on ridge top this morning before dawn. Soon after heard 2 gobbles. Sounded close. When it got light enough I saw him on his limb about 30 yards away. Did spook one hen of her roost but the gobbler eventually pitched down to the creek bank and gobbled a few more times. Heard maybe 2 or 3 more birds gobbling on other side of creek.

I still haven't heard the first gobble. Granted, I haven't been out listening too much, but I can usually hear a few right from my bedroom.

Woodmaster went up to our place for a listen and heard zip, nada, nary a gobble.
Checked our camera and only had a few hens, a few Jakes and only ONE longbeard.
We are at a loss as to what happened to all the birds in and around our place. We used to be loaded with birds and now it’s turkey ghost town.
The last three year’s we have heard just two gobbling birds and they didn’t gobble much.
The bird I killed two years ago gobbled twice before he came in. He was silent the last 100 yards.
The birds Woodmaster and I killed last year were both silent mouthed all the way in.
We did get a 4 pointer on camera still sporting his antlers on March 31st.
