I dont know where you all live but where I am stores are a bit picked over but getting more supply everyday.
Personally though I'm not seeing chaos and looting on the horizon, I'm seeing some people being inconvenienced but that's about it. Supply lines are running as normal but people are panic buying and hoarding faster than trucks can come in.
I think most people are buying into the hysteria, the panic is so much worse than the virus or precautions.
(I could see looting in larger cities though I guess)
Typed on a phone, forgive me any errors.

Same story as voting I believe Big City vs. Country living. Buddy in Chicago says that that the grocery stores that he's been in have little to none of the following and have been like this since Friday. Bread, eggs, meat, veggies (fresh and frozen), canned goods. Not going to bother mentioning paper goods and cleaning supplies.
Don't panic but be prepared is what I recommend. My advice is worth exactly what you paid for it. LOL

I went to the New Albany Meijer last night. As much out of curiosity as anything. No bread whatsoever, no chicken, no eggs, no ground beef. Plenty of pork, lunch meat, cheese, chips, booze, etc. I did pick up a few things that I normally buy every week.
I don't claim to know anything, but my hunch is that there will be regional "shelter in place" orders given.

I was in the grocery and Sams this morning. No noticeable issues or shortages. Sams had plenty of TP.

Today 3-18-20 Meijer in Valparaiso had no toilet paper about 30 rolls of paper towel, the bread-bun isle is just about empty except for a few high priced products. They have closed the deli and butcher-fresh sea food areas only prepackaged items and the shelves are thin.

Just went to the Clarksville Sam's. No paper goods at all, no baby wipes, no dog food, no chicken, no ground beef, very little frozen snack food, no frozen pizza.
Plenty of pork, steak, seafood, produce, lunch meat and cheese.
I went just because construction is SLOW right now with panic and weather. I'm buying goods that I would normally purchase and will keep.

Can’t believe we have search for toilet paper. You would think the hoarders would have enough by now.

Not unlike the great hoarding of .22 ammo after Sandy Hook... People were hoarding .22s then, this time it's toilet paper.

Walmart here looks like it's having a store closing sale. Local grocery store isn't fully stocked but I found everything I needed. I didn't look for toilet paper, though. Maybe I should have.

States are recalling and activating their National Guard in preparation of the next steps. If anyone doesn't think this isn't going to become a complete storm before the sun rises on better days you are fooling yourselves. [/quote 20,000 British troops have been put on standby, that is official from the government emergency bill tomorrow in parliament, it will go through, then watch this space. London will be lock down if not the whole country, then we will see the army lads. shops here are starting rationing, idiots cleaning them out. regards billy

I made another trip to the local Meijer today after the announcement regarding the best-cast school openings. I am continuing to buy non-perishable items that we normally consume. The store was stocked with everything but ground beef, toilet paper, and chicken. What the hell do people have against pork?
If the $hiT hits the fan, I'll shoot deer and catch fish to survive. Cash in the appropriate secure place and ammo as well.

There were a very few pork loins left, but no ground beef, no beef roasts, no chicken, a few pork ribs, a few sorry looking packages of pork chops, and surprisingly, a good supply of steaks. I didn`t dawdle, I got a pork loin, some sliced ham, and a family size container of Bob Evans Mac and cheese, all the Bob Evans mashed potatoes were wiped out. This is ridiculous, but it isn`t surprising after the level of non ending pounding into the head of Americans, the manufactured hysteria and panic. The media owns this, and as people get more desperate for no good reason, and they turn on each other and commit acts of violence, the media owns that too.
