Finally boated a fish on the rona ranger at patoka. Nice two days rest at four seasons cabin. Very nice place. Was like a 100 degrees out  |

Still putting the smack on some big gills and redears. Be the third day fishing with my dad. They are all over the place in the water column. Spawning And down to 20 foot of water.  |

The very bottom fish is most likely a Hybrid Bluegill/Redear Sunfish. Note the Redear coloration but no red ear mark on the ear tab? Even females have a small reddish mark on the ear tab.

Had a great day fishing and being with family last Saturday. Caught a few 1-2 lb bass before the storm.
Always a great day when you get out with friends and family.

Went to Cataract Sat morning and caught about a dozen crappie and 2 channel cats. Two of the crappie were between 12-13" and one channel was about 22" long. Was a fun fight on 4 lb line.

Hit monroe Friday afternoon. Lost 1 walleye, landed 4 channels, 2 bass, 8 gills and a 1st for me from monroe a drum.
Kept the gills, drum and 3 cats for a fry yesterday....yum

I fished in a clients pond today that has an overpopulation of bass. I caught 3 about 12", one about 14" and one that was fat and about 17". The 4 smaller ones were all underweight for their length. All bass were removed.
