Add two more to team one.
Had a squirrel out in the orchard when I walked to the shop. He just ignored me. See what happens when you cut the locals some slack. They forget just who I am lol.

My son came up for what may be his last day of squirrel hunting this year, due to job commitments. It was a beautiful day in the woods. All the squirrels seen were on the ground. My son nailed 5[his second limit ever]. So, 5 more for team#1 LCB. Brings his total up to 16. I didn't get a one.... oh well...

Well, something has happened to photobucket [again]. All my picks have disappeared, even my avatar, and I can't get logged on there...... That place has turned into a major pain in the you-know-what! Well, since I posted this, looks like the pics came back. Who knows...gremlins?

Now that I'm done with deer, it's time to get out there and whittle down the population of the tree stand chewers.
Good going deadeer!

Looks like my last post didn't post. Add 12 to team 1's total as I keep forgetting to post.
On my way to work today I saw a black squirrel. First one I have seen in my home county. A woman at work told me Tuesday she has em in her yard and I figured she was seeing grays. Would be so nice to have them on the farm.

Have seen good population of black in Elkhart county, and plenty in LaPorte county over in Michigan City area. Pretty lean on the grays though, pockets here and there.

Please add 3 more for Team 5. 2 fox and a gray. Young males.
Couldn't help but fry them up for lunch in Cajun spiced cornmeal. Tender and delicious!
Personal total is now 38.

I would rather have the fox squirrels than the grey's. Fox squirrels have more meat on them.

Funny how a population of the blacks can just grow in spots like it does. See a lot of grays in the next county over and never a black.

Unfortunately my work schedule is going to prevent me from taking another day off to get another squirrel hunt in before the end of the season.
It has been fun guys!
Congrats to the Limb Chicken Brigade again for another fine year of busting bushytails!
