5 more today for Team 5. They didn't move much to begin with it seemed, but we had a lot of fog this morning. Personal total is now 30. 22 males and 8 females. Going to put the 881 away and start carrying the 17 Mach 2 again.

Finally made it out in the woods for a short time. Saw about 5-6, but only got shots at 2. Both connected and they were in the crockpot until it quit on me. I found another we havent used in awhile and finished them off. They will be part of squirrel and dumplings soon.

Totally forgot to post this last Saturday. This is the first time I have found a rifle bullet still in a squirrel also. This is the heel and much of the jacket of what was a CCI 17 Mach 2 17 grain bullet. It entered at the neck of my first gray squirrel of that morning and traveled the length of the squirrel and stopped just under the hide on top of the hip. Thankfully, all of the significant damage was contained to the first 1.5" of the neck and chest.

Been 2 1/2 wks., since I been out. Score 1 more for Team#1 LCB. Brings my total up to 18. Big ole male, with the most beautiful tail I've seen in a while. Forgot my camera, but I cut off the tail, and brought it home for a pic. Picture doesn't do it justice. I salted it down and let it dry over the winter.
