2 more for Team 5. Really windy. Saw 4 more, but 2 was all that I could get to cooperate. Waited around till the wind finally died down near noon, but they had quit cutting by then. Took out the old Marlin 881 and Remington Subsonics. First year for that Simmons rimfire scope. Wish I had kept count how may squirrels I shot with that rifle. Bluing is almost completely worn off the bolt handle! Personal total is 7 so far this year.

One more for team #1 LCB. Brings me up to a humble 3 so far. Beautiful morning to hunt. Saw 3 and shot one. 45 yard+ shot, in the head. Interesting, when I went to pick him up, I found a 3" piece of tail, laying next to him. Upon further looking, I shot the lil booger in the mouth, it exited between the shoulder blades, and shot off a 3" piece of his tail! All my years of hunting, this was a first.

Please add 3 to team number 6's (wardlube?) total. Went out this afternoon and they were active. Nice and cool in the woods. Missed a few more but was able to get a mess so that's OK.

Well, couldn't take it any longer. It rained all day and when it quit after supper I had to hit the woods even though it would be a short hunt. Got to a friend's little woodlot at 7:45pm and shot the only squirrel I saw. Was a young, boar gray. Guess that is what he gets for being out after curfew! Add 1 for Team 5. Brings my personal total to 8.

Please add one to team number 6. Thanks. My hunting partner had a better morning than I did. He got five. I went one for two and saw several more but few shot opportunities.

Makes it hard to see in the shadow of the scope since it was already getting dark. Zoom in you can still see it and his eye.

Put 2 more down for Team#1 LCB. Brings my personal total up to six. Went again this morning, and got two with my single shot rifle. Both were head shots. Ok, for the third time, let me see if I can post a pic.[photobucket changed some things] Yeah! It worked!

Score two more for Team #1 LCB. Maddog's son scored two this morning. I saw a couple, but couldn't get a shot. Then the humidity took over, and I got way too hot. So we quit for the day.

I went out this morning a saw one. That's when my allergies kick in and headed out as fast as I could. Didn't last 20 minutes.
