Made it out this morning , got lucky and avoided the rain by not getting out to early. Got out there at 8am and we were done by 9:30am. I got a single and a double and so did my dad. While we were putting decoys away they were still flying over. Just before I left some more came in and landed.

This has been a great season for geese. Our total for this season is 36. Never have we done this good. Here is todays three. I got a double and a single. My first 2 shots of the day was the double, the third goose I hit but didnt do anything to him but make him fold a little and keep going. DANG almost a triple!! My Dad wasn't on his game today. He Sailed 2 that we couldn't retreive.

Only got one today. had numerous things to get done before work so I pulled the deks and headed back to the barn. Plus the wind was really gusty and it was snowing sideways a bit. Once I got everything put away the wind died down and the snow stopped. Came out of the barn to see 4 geese trying to decide wether to land or not right in front of the blind with no decoys. Grabbed the gun and headed back out there after they decided to not land. About half way there 2 geese take off out of the flooded field. If I had only stayed 10 min longer I could have limited out. Oh well there is always tomorrow.
