apparently ducks and geese HATE south central Indiana too. Put 150 miles on the truck yesterday and couldn't fine enough birds to get too excited about....

Out in WA state for a visit with the inlaws, and am enjoying their absolutely incredible duck hunting out here! So far 3 days have yielded 36 ducks and a goose, and that is with 2 people hunting per day. That is my kind of tradition. Looks like fun

It's amazing that you have snow on the ground and your bag consists of wood ducks, green wing teal, pintails, widgeon, mallards and geese.
Does your wife have a sister?

I know your not in Indiana because the water is clear enough to see the rocky bottom and your dog isn't covered in mud. Where I hunt you can't see 2" and my dog smells like muck for weeks after season. What part of WA are you in?

I have to drive 40 miles north west or east to start finding a decent population of them. Scouting that far away sucks.

You killed more ducks in 2 days than most Indiana duck hunters killed the entire season.
