apparently ducks and geese HATE south central Indiana too. Put 150 miles on the truck yesterday and couldn't fine enough birds to get too excited about.... |

Out in WA state for a visit with the inlaws, and am enjoying their absolutely incredible duck hunting out here! So far 3 days have yielded 36 ducks and a goose, and that is with 2 people hunting per day.    That is my kind of tradition. Looks like fun |

It's amazing that you have snow on the ground and your bag consists of wood ducks,green wing teal, pintails,widgeon,mallards and geese.
Does your wife have a sister?

I know your not in Indiana because the water is clear enough to see the rocky bottom and your dog isn't covered in mud.
Where I hunt you can't see 2" and my dog smells like muck for weeks after season.
What part of WA are you in?

I have to drive 40 miles north west or east to start finding a decent population of them. Scouting that far away sucks. |
