Another good friend arrowed a 180 class buck tonight. Found blood but thought shot was slightly back. Buck stopped 60 yards out and walked away slowly stopping every few yards. He backed out and is waiting till morning to take up trail with bloodhound. Wishing him luck in the morning.

They are really making me look bad... I have at best a 150 class buck I'm chasing this year my farm. But this is getting ridiculous. Hunter has a 164" buck to his credit and said this deer is way bigger. Can't wait to see it.

Hope he finds it. If it is a solid liver hit he will be dead within an hour or two but could walk for a mile. I would have a dog handy if the blood trail dries up.

Congrats. Sounds like the buck didn't go much farther. I've seen them do the slow walk and they don' go that far.

boone...complaining about only having a 150 incher (come her let me slap you haha!). Hunt the best your area has and be happy lol!
Keep us posted and share a pic as soon as hunter is okay with it!

Update: They found deer but suffered from ground shrinkage over night LOL. Solid 150's be my guess. Will get a pic over later.

Good to hear; a 150's deer is still a solid animal.

I wouldn't pass up a 140"+ net, so a solid 150" would be great. Glad they found it.

150 gross is a shooter every day in my book. Heck, I'm tickled to take a good 130 incher.

He shot the deer at 8 yds quartering away. (A mature deer is gonna look big that close.) Hit liver and came out opposite lung. Didn't really go very far he said. Have only seen 1 pic so far but is a very good buck regardless whatever it scores. I forwarded to Woody and am sure he will get pic over to thread when he has time.

I wouldn't be upset at 150" at all. Congrats on the find

Congrats - anything 150 or above in my book is a good buck.
