I think he was maybe a bit excited when he told me he just shoot a booner....LOL. Regardless its a good deer. More mid to upper 140's after I got to see in person. Does have good mass. Bases are alittle over 5". Killed in Switzerland County just outside Bennington.

Bennington is really close. Within a 1/2 mile of my friends farm. I hunt a mile east on the other side of 250. There are a lot of 150+ bucks in that area. Great combination of farm land and good size woods with very steep hills. Tell him congrats.

I hunt off Jackson Rd off 129. I drop into AJs diner for lunch and Moe's often for dinner in Vevay.

Taxidermist green scored the buck at 152" gross and 146" net. Had 36" in mass measurements.

That's a nice buck. I would have dropped the string on it to. I wish there were some crop fields near my corner of the county.
