I too haven't seen alot of deer but I'm happy I can go out and hunt some people can't go. Its like the fishing guys say "a day fishing without a catch is still better than work. As for deer I had one come in at last light. Just BC you don't see them doesn't mean there not there good luck to all

Cold cold cold! Haven't checked in recently. Been hunting lots. Seeing plenty of deer, but not anything big enough yet. So many 1.5 & 2.5 year olds it's not even funny. Have seen 4 shooters total this year, but they haven't given me an opportunity. Hoping to connect in the next 4 days.

Chalk up another 6 deerless hours to my 300+ hours. Hunted Monday eve and did not see squat. Hunted a 10 acre corn field that had been picked 2 weeks ago. It was 25 degrees and the wind was out of the Northwest at 10-15 mph. BRRRRRR. Sat 3 hrs and did not even see an animal. Almost glad the season is about over. Oh then there is Muzzy season. Doggonnit I guess I will have to keep going. I may hit over 400 hrs on stand this year.

I am able to take a solid month off of work at one time. This year i was off from Oct 26th thru Nov 25th. I Hunt every day during that time. Also i hunt alot in October starting on the first. My work schedule is 4:30am to 12:30pm so i can hunt every evening too. Add 8hrs a day times 30 and that is 240 already then add the hunts in October and it adds up pretty quick. Yeah i am addicted to deer hunting and have a wife that tolerates it.

Yeah i am addicted to deer hunting and have a wife that tolerates it. I hope you have very comfortable seats in your stands. Wow! I have a few hang on stands but mostly use climbers. I have 4 climbers. 1 Summit viper with the sling seat, 2 API bowhunters with sling seats and another cheaper climber with a sling style seat. A sling seat is the way to go. Also I have foot rest on all them. This allows you take pressure off your legs. Actually they are comfy. I usually rotate from standing to sitting after so long. During bow season I stand mostly and gun season I sit mostly. I know it is hard for guys to really grasp how a person could actually hunt that many hours. Well for one I have a very understanding wife that tolerates my passion. We have no kids, I have a work schedule that allows that much time in the woods. I try to get everything around the house caught up before deer season starts and I am addicted to being outside and have the drive to keep going. Let me tell you it is exhausting expecially when you don't see deer. But I always think If i don't go I will never know. If i miss a hunt it is like this could have been the day Mr. Big came by. If I don't get him at least I know I did my best and gave myself the chance.

Good morning and happy thanksgiving to everyone. I will be waddling out to my stand here shortly. I wish you all good luck and may you find success this morning. I plan on taking the first mature deer I see this morning if im fortunate enough to see one. I do have to work today so I will not have an extended time afield. GOD BLESS!

First off. Happy Thanksgiving! In the stand by myself this morning and so far so good. The the leaves all chrunchy, I am able to hear the deer passing. Hoping to connect with at least a doe this morning, so I can get some meat in the freezer. Be careful out there and straight shooting!

Hunting out or a ground blind this morning, because I forgot my harness and I just had one of the local bobcats walk right past my blind. It was one of the youngsters, so I hope the other one comes by, so I can get a picture. I've had one deer pass since daybreak, but to small.

Happy Thanksgiving. I'm out this morning also. Like Hank Williams Jr's song. "Its a family Tradition". First deer sighting of the morning 10 minutes ago.
