Well..... don't know where y'all hunt..... but around me, the populations seems just fine.... and.... the big boys r movin... just at night..... evenings have been great for general deer sightings..... my gf and I took 3 antlerless deer in 3 afternoons in the same stand... all evening hunts...... When I drove back out to get my big doe, there was a realy good buck with a doe in the field.... right in front of my truck..... drove on back and there was another buck with a doe..... this was all after dark.... They r there.... they r just movin in the dark..... MIKE

I agree, all bets on evening hunts unless there's no moon like last night( cause of cloud cover) tonight its clear out, no moon though. Tomorrow morning ought be good.i seen 3 does this morning, they never stopped spooked and in a hurry I never had a clear shot. 1 week is enough to put the pressure on. Especially for us public ground hunters. If your hunting public its been pressurized!

Since I can only doe hunt Indiana, I'm trying Ohio this week. Friend from work got me access to some of his family farms a few years ago. Hunted over a cut cornfield last night and again this morning. Seen 130" 8 point and a big bodied small racked buck last night. Neither wanted to do anything but eat. Same stand this morning and had a group of 4 coyotes come out. Looks like we got some predator control to be working on after season.

Back out again here in Benton Co. Windy, but I'm on stand down in low area so it's not too bad. Nothing yet, hopefully today will be the day. Good luck everyone! Ended up not seeing a thing but squirrels, and some cranes flying overhead. Heard a couple shots off to the north mid morning. I did have a coyote come up to within 10 yards of the stand, I wasn't ready and was too frozen to take him. Ended up walking the woods along the creek, still didn't see anything, but did flind a nice big empty bed area. Plenty of tracks where they move across creek not too far away, but it was too cold for me to get feet wet and cross looking for them. Scouted shades on Sunday for the upcoming late hunt next week.

Sat a couple hours this morning. Saw squirrels and rabbits. No deer movement. It sure was cold tho! Would have sat longer but the wind and cold weather was ruthless. Good luck to all sticking it out in this weather

Nothing last night and nothing this morning.....You would think with the low temps the deer would be moving? ?

Got on stand at 6:30 this morning. The wind froze me out by 8:20. Didn't see a thing. Hopefully this evening will produce. Ill be hunting over a cut corn field. I haven't shot anything all season. Passed a 6pt in October and passed 3 does the other evening. From this point on with the ruthless cold weather and not taking anything yet..I'm saying if its brown its down..good luck y'all!

Out of all my sightings I've never seen any on average before 9 am yet I still get out about 6 and freeze my butt off. Its nice to watch the woods come alive while the sun rises

not quite live fron stand but i went out and sat a fencerow overlooking a picked corn field and thick pine grove edge. hoped deer were sheltering from wind in pines and would filter in to corn at dusk.guessed wrong saw 0 but enjoyed it just the same
