Had a neighbor of our property say he saw a GIANT cross the street and head into our woods by the creek which is where I've got a stand that hasn't been sat much at all this year. Guess where I'll be in the morning  |

Good morning all! Nice to be back in the stand after a couple days away. North northwest wind here about 8 mph with misty rain.

Beautiful morning today! Got some fog and light mist going on here with a little warm temps. The creeks roaring due to all the rain so idk if that's a good or bad thing? I guess we shall see! Still trying to get it done with my bow. Good luck to everyone who makes it out today:)

Illinois- no rain, breezy, 50 degrees.. Heard 6 shots total . Single , double and a triple. Zero deer seen. 6 squirrels and 1owl..

I'm hunting in a stand by a corn field by a blacktop road . There is an old railroad bed running alongside the road that obscures the cornfield from the road. I'm 250 yards across the field on the edge of a cutover. I had a decent (almost a shooter with decent mass ) 9 pointer walk across the field from the road side and go in the woods I am in. Glad to finally see something!

Been in the stand all morning. Had to get the poncho out for awhile. Seen a few squirrels a turkey and no deer. Still have rain dripping from the trees. Only hunting the morning hopefully comes by!

Not hunting this morning because of the wind. 30+ mph up here in NE LaPorte county, been one of the windiest gun seasons I can remember. Lost half my vacation so far this season between weather and butchering. Not a bad reason for the latter. Shot 3 so far and friend donated 2. Been busy but done now! Back to hunting tonight. Snow on the way.
