Oh, I can't hardly stand it. I know someone who just shot a BIG buck ...much bigger than mine. They are running the does.

It makes me want to get back out there. I haven't hunted since I got mine. I may have to go out tomorrow; I'm on vacation. woooooohoooooo

Saw a nice buck chasin a doe every which way except towards me this evening...its gettin good

Hunted almost all day 2 days in a row and have not seen a deer. This is getting rediculous. No action at all. This is supposed to be prime time but it seems there is not a deer in the county. Nothing new for me though.

I have only hunted once since I tagged mine. Im a college student, I hunted hard until I got mine and now it is crunch time for school work. Im itching to get back in the woods so bad! taking a five day vacation starting next week! |

I was going to sight my shotguns in tomorrow, but man, I can't hardly stand it. My buddy just text me another photo of the hog buck; it is massive. I wish he'd post it here. Study hard and hunt harder! |

My morning is going down hill fast. It started good. The wind I need. Which is very little if any here. Nice temps. And then the silence was broken. Not by deer but by two young coyote pups setting in my bean field having a barking contest. Thanks to them looks to be a slow start.

Sorry to hear hornzilla. Hopefully things turn around. I just had a nice what could of been a 140" buck come in. He's missing part of the right side of his rack unfortunately. Also a doe came in and a small basket rack a few minutes later. The bucks started to go at. They don't seem to have any interest in the doe.

Just had 2 more does come in with a little buck hot on their trail. I believe the little guys are already fired up. Good to see some movement after the last few times have been dead.

This has been the slowest season for me in years. However yesterday it finally started picking up w/ some chasing. Been in my stand this morning since 6:30 & the deer are moving. Had a doe under me early & there's a decent buck running a doe all over the CRP field beside me. Maybe today is the day.

Saw an 8 early on and just had 3 does on the ridge across from me. Hoping today is the day.

Another little guy just walked by at 15 yards. Movement has slowed down here, but not quiet to a halt. Also, every buck I've seen has been grunting. Good sign for the weekend I'd say.
